Individuality

A priority of mine for teaching has always been to promote creativity in thinking. I try to offer suggestions, possibilities and alternatives to "creating".  I realize that my job is not really just about teaching a list of skills to mastery, but about creating open minds. To do this in a kindergarten classroom, you must be ready for the mess!  I swept the floor several times today!  Pictures of their creations will be posted tomorrow. 😉
